Hebrews 11:12-14

¹² Therefore there were born even of one man, and ^(A)him as good as dead ^[a]at that, as many ^(B)as the stars of heaven in number, and innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.

^13 (C)All these died in faith, ^(D)without receiving the promises, but ^(E)having seen them and having welcomed them from a distance, and ^(F)having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. ¹⁴ For those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own.
